Scheduled inspection, performance-relevant cleaning and documented service for restaurants, bakeries, commissaries and hospitality facilities. Start with the equipment whose loss would interrupt your operation.

From equipment list to a maintenance plan

  1. Share the equipment and city

List brands and models, the units you cannot operate without, your concerns and an available service window.

  2. Agree the assessment

The initial on-site assessment is paid. Scope and price are agreed before scheduling.

  3. Plan the next service

Receive written findings, repair priorities and a proposed maintenance schedule. Approve the ongoing scope before it begins.

Coverage

A plan for the whole kitchen

Agreed service tasks

  • Performance-relevant cleaning of accessible condensers, filters, burners and drains
  • Gasket, belt, seal and wear-item inspection
  • Applicable temperature, electrical, control and water-condition checks
  • Functional checks and written corrective recommendations

What management receives

  • Asset list and baseline condition
  • Priorities, access needs and parts dependencies
  • Model-specific task schedule
  • Named responsibilities for operator care and qualified service

Required maintenance follows the exact model and revision. Merrychef conneX and e2s routines differ; Rational checklists also apply to specified models and markets. Daily operator care and work requiring qualified service are assigned separately. Regulated work stays within KONGRA’s legal scope or is coordinated with properly licensed independent contractors.

Independent service. KONGRA LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by these manufacturers. Brand names are used only to identify equipment we service.

Rack oven door and hinge access

A KONGRA job photograph shows the rack oven door and hinge area with the outer trim removed. Door support, hinge movement and closing alignment are assessed together; this access view is not a post-repair test result.

Rack oven: recorded service result

A documented rack-oven service record confirms door hinge work, closing and alignment checks, and a final operational check. Door wear and sealing belong in subsequent condition reviews. The photograph above shows service access, not the final test.

Belshaw fryer: recurrence recorded

An ignition complaint initially responded during diagnosis and was later reported to recur. Follow-up observation was needed; a lasting repair was not established. A maintenance record should retain that open item rather than close it after one successful start.

Visit records

A clear handover after service

The report separates what was observed, what was performed and what still needs attention. Below is a blank report structure, not a completed service record.

Observation
Condition, operator report and relevant readings.
Approved work
Tasks actually authorized and carried out.
Result
Functional checks and measurements taken, where applicable.
Open items
Unresolved faults, parts or access still needed.
Next action
Proposed date or usage trigger, with its basis.
Responsibility
Operator care, agreed KONGRA service or specialist work.

Free maintenance planning worksheet

Record equipment identity, available backup, symptoms, task sources, service windows and handover. Keep completed copies with your private equipment records.

Maintenance reduces risk but cannot prevent every failure. Corrective work needs approval; parts and emergency attendance are covered only if quoted. Written findings and invoices are provided; W9 and COI are available on request.

FAQ

Maintenance questions

How often should commercial equipment be serviced?+

The exact model's manufacturer instructions set required tasks and intervals. Operating hours, water condition, kitchen heat and fault history may call for more frequent attention. An interval is extended only where the applicable instructions permit it.

What if a fault returns after a maintenance visit?+

Record when it returns, the operating mode and the message shown. A successful start does not establish a lasting fix for an intermittent fault; the recurrence becomes a follow-up diagnostic item.

Can one agreement cover a mixed kitchen?+

Yes, after a scope review. Refrigeration, dishwashing, ice machines and cooking equipment each need their own model-matched tasks. Parts, corrective repairs and emergency attendance are included only when expressly quoted; there is no default response-time or round-the-clock guarantee.
