Medical, Dental & Laboratory Equipment Diagnostics

Engineering-led fault assessment and selective repair support for complex research, dental and non-life-support medical equipment. Send the manufacturer, model, fault and intended use for a scope review before scheduling work.

Brands & equipment

Scientific, dental-lab & support equipment

Manufacturer names identify equipment families for a model-specific assessment. Intended use, technical access, decontamination and the available verification procedure determine service fit.

Equipment support across healthcare & life sciences

KONGRA applies electromechanical, temperature-system and electronic-control troubleshooting to selected instruments and support equipment used by Bay Area research laboratories, biotech teams, dental practices and technical facilities. The entry point is a model-specific engineering assessment, not a claim that every clinical device can be serviced.

For an intermittent fault, obsolete controller or high-value assembly, the first step is to separate the symptom from the root cause and decide whether authorized access, safe testing, parts and a verifiable repair path are available.

  • Fault isolation for electrical, mechanical and thermal systems
  • Controller, drive, motor, sensor and power-supply diagnostics
  • Repair, parts sourcing or replacement strategy where technically supported
  • Documented findings and customer-approved scope before work

Laboratory & scientific equipment

Common assessment categories include benchtop, microcentrifuge, refrigerated and high-speed centrifuge systems; CO₂ incubators; environmental and temperature test chambers; research autoclaves; shakers, mixers, water baths, and supporting pumps. Model access, decontamination status and safety requirements determine what can be accepted.

Laboratory refrigeration and ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers need system-level diagnosis of sensors, controls, fans, defrost, power and cooling conditions. Refrigerant work and fixed-building work are evaluated separately within applicable qualifications and licensing.

  • Laboratory centrifuges and microcentrifuges
  • CO₂ incubators, environmental chambers and temperature controls
  • Laboratory refrigerators, freezers and ULT cold storage
  • Benchtop research autoclaves and selected sterilizers
  • Vacuum pumps, laboratory chillers, circulation pumps and mixers

Biotech instrumentation & laboratory automation

Automated research workflows combine motion, electronics, pneumatics, pumps and instrument-control computers. Selected liquid-handling platforms, robotic pipettors, microplate handlers, sample-handling equipment and associated drives or control modules may qualify for a technical assessment.

Selected Agilent, Waters and Thermo Scientific HPLC, GC, LC-MS and GC-MS inquiries are reviewed for pumps, degassers, autosampler peripherals, vacuum support, power or control interfaces. The laboratory service page explains the accepted module scope; analytical performance validation and accredited calibration remain separate specialist work.

  • Liquid handlers, automated pipettors and robotic peripherals
  • Plate movers, microplate handlers and selected readers
  • Motion drives, stepper and servo systems, interlocks and sensors
  • Instrument interfaces, power supplies and legacy control PCs

Dental & digital dentistry equipment

For selected dental practice and dental-laboratory assets, KONGRA can review electromechanical, thermal, vacuum and control-system faults. Examples for model screening include treatment-chair and delivery-system controls, dental compressors and suction systems, benchtop sterilizers, CAD/CAM dental milling machines, laboratory furnaces and compatible drive electronics.

Intraoral scanners and other digital dentistry devices are evaluated strictly by exact model and accessible failure mode; scanner optics or proprietary calibration are not promised. Sterilizer repair or functional checks do not establish biological sterilization validation or infection-control compliance.

  • Dental chair actuators, switches, control panels and delivery systems
  • Dental air compressors, suction and vacuum equipment
  • Benchtop dental autoclaves and sterilizer control systems
  • Dental lab CAD/CAM milling machines and furnaces
  • Digital dentistry peripherals and scanner hardware: case-by-case review

Selected medical equipment — model-specific scope review

Selected non-patient-critical support assets, such as medical-grade refrigerators, storage temperature controllers and powered examination furniture, may be reviewed for an engineering assessment. Acceptance depends on intended use, applicable safety and regulatory obligations, facility requirements, technical access and a defensible verification plan.

This page does not offer repair of X-ray, dental CBCT, CT, MRI, mammography, radiation-producing equipment, clinical lasers, ventilators, anesthesia machines, infusion pumps, dialysis equipment, defibrillators or life-support and patient-critical systems.

Legacy laboratory controls & electronics

Older scientific instruments often rely on discontinued PC operating systems, interface cards, serial communication, motor drives and unavailable control boards. A structured assessment checks whether the failure lies in the instrument, its power or motion system, peripheral connections, controller or approved software environment.

Where authorized and feasible, options may include component repair, an exchange module, preserving accessible configuration or a compatible replacement. Recovery of lost data, protected credentials, unavailable licenses or unsupported firmware is not guaranteed.

  • Legacy instrument PCs, interface cards and communication faults
  • Power supplies, circuit boards, HMI displays and control modules
  • Pumps, temperature controllers, motors, sensors and drive electronics
  • Supported repair versus replacement evaluation

Manufacturer documentation and fault-reference guides

Our technical references explain documented manufacturer alerts, common symptom categories and what a facility can record before a qualified assessment. A manual listing an error does not show how often it occurs or identify a failed part.

The laboratory robotics and centrifuge articles link back to model-screened equipment assessment services. CT, MRI, mammography, dental CBCT and X-ray micro-CT articles are educational only: KONGRA does not offer general clinical imaging or radiation-system repair, certification or calibration.

Start with an engineering intake

Share the manufacturer, model, equipment type, intended use, symptoms, visible error codes and available manuals or photographs. For laboratory and clinical environments, identify any chemical, biological or other contamination hazards and the facility's decontamination and access requirements.

KONGRA will review whether the requested work can be accepted, what access and testing are needed and whether a phased diagnostic scope is practical. Functional checks are distinct from calibration, IQ/OQ/PQ, clinical performance or regulatory validation; these are not represented as KONGRA certifications.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What laboratory instruments can KONGRA evaluate?+

Selected centrifuges, incubators, research sterilizers, thermal systems, pumps, shakers, robotics and control electronics. Acceptance depends on the exact model, condition, intended use and safe test access.

Can you troubleshoot legacy or discontinued laboratory equipment?+

Selected systems may qualify for an assessment of power, interface, control, drive or peripheral failures. Parts availability, software licensing and verification requirements affect feasibility.

Do you service dental chairs, autoclaves and CAD/CAM dental equipment?+

KONGRA can review specific models for electromechanical, thermal, pneumatic or control-system work. Infection-control validation, scanner optics and specialized calibration are separate from repair and are not guaranteed.

What about MRI, CT, X-ray or dental CBCT machines?+

Radiation-producing imaging, MRI and other highly regulated or patient-critical equipment are outside KONGRA's standard advertised repair scope.

Do you issue ISO 17025 calibration or IQ/OQ/PQ certificates?+

No general accredited-calibration or regulatory-validation service is represented. When a site needs certified testing, the required qualified provider and responsibilities must be established separately.

What information helps you decide whether to accept a project?+

Send manufacturer and model, fault symptoms, intended clinical or research use, availability of documentation, location, contamination status and any facility safety requirements.
