Laboratory & Scientific Equipment Repair
Independent repair and complex diagnostics for selected laboratory, biotech and research equipment across the Bay Area.
Selected laboratory equipment
KONGRA focuses on selected non-life-support equipment where electromechanical, thermal, motion, pump, power or control faults can be evaluated within an appropriate service scope. Vacuum loss is assessed as a pump-and-system question; temperature drift as a sensor, circulation, heating or cooling-support question. Motor, drive and intermittent-control behavior is measured before a component is proposed.
- Centrifuges
- Incubators and environmental equipment
- Shakers and mixers
- Selected pumps and vacuum equipment
- Laboratory chillers and temperature-support systems
- Selected scientific electronics and control modules
HPLC, GC & mass-spectrometry module repair assessment
A chromatography or mass-spectrometry system may be unavailable because a pump, degasser, autosampler, vacuum peripheral, power supply or control interface has failed. KONGRA reviews selected Agilent, Waters and Thermo Scientific HPLC, GC, LC-MS and GC-MS equipment at the identified module or supporting-system level.
Request an assessment for a module that will not start, an autosampler that will not initialize, a pump fault, loss of vacuum support or communication failure. The written scope identifies the proposed work and functional checks. Analytical method troubleshooting, detector or ion-optics work, performance qualification and accredited calibration are not included in this module-repair offer.
- Selected pumps, degassers and autosampler peripherals
- Vacuum-support and external cooling systems
- Instrument power supplies, controllers and interfaces
- Repair, exchange or replacement planning for the identified module
Legacy instrument-control computers and interfaces
A working instrument may depend on an older control computer. For selected systems, assess the operating system, storage condition, lawful software and drivers, interface cards, cables, peripherals and available instrument data or backups. Review these dependencies before proposing a replacement computer or software change.
The approved scope may preserve accessible files, assess storage or interface faults and compare supported recovery options. Missing software, protected access and damaged data are not promised recoverable. No passwords or licensing restrictions are bypassed, and no general IT migration or analytical validation is implied.
Measured findings, then phased work
The initial assessment records the symptom, measurements, accessible documentation and unresolved questions. The written scope separates repair, sourcing and supported restoration from optional modernization. Each phase needs approval; relevant functional checks are recorded separately from calibration or validation.
Coverage depends on the equipment, application, contamination status and supported access.
Biotech, research and QC environments
Useful service documentation records the equipment identity privately, the reported fault, diagnostic findings, approved work and relevant functional checks. Public site content does not expose customer names, serial numbers or facility details.
KONGRA does not claim ISO 17025 calibration, IQ/OQ/PQ, GMP validation or regulatory certification unless a specific qualified service is separately established.
Medical and regulated boundaries
Selected dental, sterilization and non-life-support clinical equipment can be reviewed separately. Life-support, anesthesia, ventilator, infusion, dialysis, defibrillator and radiation-producing equipment are outside KONGRA's standard service scope at this time.
Where medical equipment is accepted, independent servicing is intended to restore equipment to its established operating and safety specifications, not change its intended use.

Frequently asked questions
Can you assess an HPLC, GC, LC-MS or GC-MS module?+
Yes, selected pump, degasser, autosampler, power, vacuum-support and control-interface faults can be reviewed by exact model. We define the accepted module and functional checks before work. This is not a whole-instrument analytical qualification or accredited calibration service.
Do you service every laboratory instrument?+
No. Coverage depends on the model, intended use, condition and supported service scope.
Do you provide accredited laboratory calibration certificates?+
Not as a general service claim. KONGRA does not represent independent repair as ISO 17025 calibration, IQ/OQ/PQ or regulatory certification unless specifically established.
