Semiconductor & Industrial Vacuum Pump Service
Diagnostics and repair planning for selected vacuum pumps and supporting equipment used in semiconductor, manufacturing, laboratory and process environments. Equipment condition, process exposure and requested scope are reviewed before service.
Vacuum loss, pump faults and support-system problems
Low vacuum, slow pump-down, overheating, abnormal noise, oil contamination, control alarms and repeated shutdowns can originate in the pump, connected valves, cooling, power, sensors or the process system around it.
KONGRA starts with the observed behavior and available documentation, then defines whether the practical path is on-site troubleshooting, removal for specialist rebuild, exchange equipment or replacement.
- Vacuum and pump-down faults
- Motor, power and control conditions
- Cooling and temperature-related faults
- Sensor and interlock review
- Repair / rebuild / exchange planning
Rebuild and exchange can reduce downtime
For expensive pumps, a professional rebuild or exchange unit can be more practical than waiting for a new replacement. KONGRA can coordinate an approved repair path and handle supported removal, installation and functional verification.
No rebuild capability, OEM authorization or turnaround guarantee is implied for every pump. The service path depends on the actual manufacturer, model, contamination status and available qualified repair source.
Process exposure and decontamination
Pumps exposed to hazardous, corrosive, biological or process materials require appropriate decontamination and customer-provided safety information before acceptance. KONGRA does not assume a pump is safe to open based only on exterior appearance.
Process-gas piping, hazardous-material work and regulated facility modifications remain outside standard equipment-side service unless separately supported by appropriately qualified providers.

Frequently asked questions
Can you work with a vacuum pump that was used on a semiconductor process?+
Possibly, but the model, process exposure and decontamination status must be reviewed first. Hazardous or contaminated equipment is not accepted without appropriate safety clearance.
Do you rebuild vacuum pumps in-house?+
Not as a blanket service claim. Depending on the pump, KONGRA may diagnose the system, coordinate a qualified specialist rebuild or exchange, and handle supported machine-side removal, installation and verification.
