Laboratory Centrifuge Repair & Diagnostics

Independent diagnostics for selected laboratory centrifuges used in research, biotech and QC environments. Model, rotor, intended use, contamination status and requested scope are reviewed before service.

Your next step

Arrange a centrifuge diagnostic assessment

For research, biotech and QC teams: confirm the model and supported scope before the visit. Online scheduling remains subject to that review.

  1. Describe the problem

Provide the model, observed error, intended use, access requirements and decontamination status. Do not include patient or research records.

  2. Diagnosis & written estimate

Inspection and measurements guide the proposed repair. Review the scope and price before approving work.

  3. Know what happens next

Parts, access and follow-up needs are discussed. Completed work and any remaining limitations are kept distinct.

Drive, lid, vibration and control faults

A centrifuge that will not start, will not lock, stops with an imbalance alarm or develops unusual vibration needs a model-specific assessment. Rotor condition, drive behavior, lid interlocks, sensors, controls and refrigeration support can all affect operation.

KONGRA records the observed fault and limits repair decisions to supported components and service information.

  • Motor and drive faults
  • Lid lock and interlock faults
  • Imbalance and vibration symptoms
  • Speed / sensor faults
  • Control and power faults
  • Refrigerated centrifuge support systems

Ultracentrifuge vacuum, temperature & control support

Selected Beckman Coulter ultracentrifuge support-system inquiries, including Optima XPN models, can be reviewed for vacuum, temperature, power or control faults. Include the instrument model and displayed message so the assessment can distinguish an external support issue from work requiring a centrifuge specialist.

This offer does not include rotor certification, high-speed rotating-assembly rebuilds, overspeed validation or manufacturer-only procedures. Available documentation and a defensible functional-check plan determine whether a particular support-system repair can be accepted.

Rotor safety and contamination boundaries

Centrifuge rotors and high-speed rotating assemblies are safety-critical. KONGRA does not extend rotor life, override manufacturer retirement criteria or certify a damaged rotor as safe based on appearance alone.

Equipment exposed to biological, chemical or other hazardous material requires appropriate decontamination and customer-provided clearance before service.

Repair is separate from accredited calibration

Functional repair and troubleshooting do not automatically constitute accredited speed, temperature or safety calibration. KONGRA does not claim ISO 17025 calibration or regulatory certification unless a specific qualified service is separately established.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you service a refrigerated laboratory centrifuge?+

Selected models can be reviewed. Mechanical, controls, sensors and cooling-support faults are separated from refrigerant work, which has its own certification and licensing requirements.

Can you certify a centrifuge rotor as safe?+

Not as a general service. Manufacturer rotor-life limits, corrosion, damage and high-speed safety requirements must be respected.
