Industrial & Process Chiller Diagnostics

Technical diagnostics for selected process, laboratory and equipment-support chillers. KONGRA focuses on controls, pumps, flow, sensors, fans and machine-side electrical conditions before recommending major components.

Temperature problem or support-system problem?

A chiller that cannot hold temperature may have a refrigerant-side issue, but it can also be responding to low flow, a failed pump, dirty heat-transfer surfaces, fan problems, sensor drift, control faults or the connected machine load.

KONGRA documents the operating symptoms and supported measurements before defining the repair path. Selected JULABO, Huber, Thermo Scientific / NESLAB, PolyScience and SMC units can be reviewed by model for laboratory recirculation, analytical-instrument cooling and manufacturing equipment support.

Refrigerant work has a separate legal scope

Control, pump, sensor and equipment-side diagnostics are separated from work that opens the refrigerant circuit. Refrigerant handling and contractor-licensed work are performed only within applicable legal scope or coordinated with appropriately certified and licensed providers.

Large building chilled-water plants, facility piping, rigging and major chiller replacement are not represented as standard KONGRA equipment-side service.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you diagnose a process chiller without opening the refrigerant circuit?+

Often the first diagnostic steps can evaluate controls, flow, pumps, fans, sensors, power and machine load without opening the circuit. The actual scope depends on the unit and fault.

Do you service large central building chillers?+

Large central HVAC plants, major refrigerant work, piping and replacement projects are outside the standard equipment-side scope unless separately coordinated with appropriately licensed providers.
