Laboratory Automation & Robotics Diagnostics
Diagnostics for selected laboratory automation, robotic motion and supporting peripheral systems. KONGRA focuses on electromechanical, power, sensing and communication faults within an approved service scope.
Motion, sensing and peripheral faults
Selected Hamilton and Tecan liquid handlers, robotic pipettors and plate-handling systems can be reviewed for failed initialization, an axis that will not home, interrupted transfers, pump faults and lost controller communication. We confirm the model, available service access and proposed verification before accepting work.
The assessment separates motion, sensor, pump, power and interface faults from assay settings or analytical method problems. Where supported, findings lead to a written repair or replacement proposal for the affected subsystem.
- Axes and motion faults
- Motors and actuators
- Sensors and homing
- Pumps and fluid-handling peripherals
- Power supplies
- Controller / PC hardware
- Communication and network faults
Clear validation boundary
OEM-required analytical calibration, validated clinical procedures, regulated assay validation and proprietary manufacturer-only operations are outside standard service unless specifically supported.
KONGRA does not claim robot safety certification or manufacturer authorization. Safety functions and protective devices are not bypassed as a repair method.

Frequently asked questions
Can you troubleshoot a laboratory robot that will not home?+
For selected systems, yes. The model, fault history and supported access are reviewed first because homing faults can involve sensors, motion hardware, controls or mechanical conditions.
Do you perform OEM validation after a repair?+
Not as a general claim. Manufacturer-required calibration or validated procedures remain outside standard service unless specifically supported for that equipment.
