Documented Diagnostics & Example Scenarios

This page contains two separate things: real documented KONGRA diagnostics with photos from actual inspections, and clearly labelled illustrative scenarios. Final diagnosis and repair scope are confirmed only after inspection.

Documented

Documented KONGRA diagnostics

Internal drainage area of a Miele built-in coffee machine during workshop inspection, showing coffee residue and dried moisture traces.
Diagnostic observation
Miele built-in coffee machine drainage inspection

Workshop inspection found heavy coffee residue and dried moisture traces in the internal drainage area. Leak source still to be confirmed.

Miele Coffee Machine Repair
Pilot and thermopile area of a Belshaw gas fryer during diagnostic inspection.
Diagnostic observation
Belshaw gas fryer ignition-system inspection

Pilot, thermopile and millivolt gas-control components documented during delayed-ignition diagnostics.

Commercial Fryer Repair
Water inlet valve and hose area inside a Bosch dishwasher during diagnosis.
Diagnostic observation
Bosch dishwasher inlet-valve diagnosis

Diagnosis of an E15 and water-tap condition identified leakage at the water inlet valve. Replacement was recommended.

High-End Appliance Repair

These records document inspection findings on real equipment and may not represent completed repairs. Any unconfirmed outcome is stated as such.

Case studies

Full write-ups of individual diagnoses, including what was tested, what was found and the repair plan.

Guides

Diagnostic guides by symptom

Longer explanations of how to describe a specific fault before booking, including what is safe to check yourself and what needs a technician.

Sub-Zero refrigerator not cooling

One warm compartment or two, steady warmth or overnight recovery, and why the display reading is only one data point.

RATIONAL combi oven: no steam

SelfCookingCenter versus iCombi differences, why visible vapour proves nothing, and the water and care messages that matter.

Commercial dishwasher not draining

Telling a normally retained wash tank from a real drainage fault, and the machine-versus-building-line question.

Commercial ice machine: low production

Separating demand and bin melt from measured capacity loss, and why ambient and inlet water conditions decide the answer.

Commercial oven not heating

No heat, slow recovery and uneven cooking are three different faults — plus gas-smell safety steps.

Miele dishwasher not draining

Standing water versus an inlet-stage stop, the drain path and air gap, and why an inlet code is not a drain-pump diagnosis.

Miele dishwasher not cleaning properly

Water reaching the dishes but not cleaning them — spray-arm coverage, circulation and why drying is a separate question.

Bosch dishwasher E24 drain error

What the code narrows down, why it is not E15, and how the drain route and pump are assessed rather than assumed.

Freezer cold but refrigerator warm

Shared-airflow designs, what to measure and record before a visit, and why this reasoning does not fit every appliance.

Refrigerator water dispenser leaking

Where the water starts and when — nozzle drips after a filter change, a connection behind the dispenser, or a source that is not the dispenser at all.

Oven door locked or LOC DOOR

Normal self-clean lockout, a control lock someone enabled, and the lock-system problem that stays locked once the oven is cold.

Dryer taking too long to dry

Vented gas and electric dryers: heat, airflow and load moisture as three separate causes of one long cycle.

Washer leaking during spin

Why the cycle stage matters, why an empty test proves little, and how leaks and heavy movement are recorded separately.

Merrychef oven not heating food

The cavity reaches its set temperature and the food still comes out under-cooked — and why eikon e2s and conneX are read separately.

Commercial dishwasher low rinse temperature

Separating what the gauge reads from where the cycle was, on machines whose documented requirement differs by model.

Commercial fryer not holding temperature

No heat and weak recovery under load are two different investigations; fuel type, model and loading history decide which one you have.

Commercial refrigerator not cooling

Persistent warmth, slow recovery after loading, ice, water after defrost and alarms are separate findings with separate evidence.

Conveyor oven not cooking evenly

Where on the belt, when in the day, and which deck — the pattern narrows the question before anything is measured.

Rack oven not rotating

Lift, rotation, heating and programme stage are four behaviours behind one display, documented differently by oven range.

Commercial mixer stops under load

Bowl volume does not describe the load; hydration, recipe, speed and agitator do, and ratings are written per model.

Industrial

Industrial and material-handling guides

Production equipment symptoms, plus the conveyor and planned-maintenance hubs.

Another documented record

Operation restored at the visit

GE electric stove: elements not heating

Two heating elements were found disconnected. They were reconnected and operation was restored at the visit. If it recurs, the connections and associated wiring are checked further — this is one record, not a universal fix for elements that stop heating.

Examples

Illustrative scenarios (examples only)

Commercial dishwasher not draining

Diagnostic scenario: the machine does not empty at the end-of-day drain. Typical inspection covers the drain arrangement the model actually uses, strainers and screens, the drain connection and installation, and whether the restriction is downstream in the building line.

Built-in refrigerator warm zone

Diagnostic scenario: fresh-food side climbs above setpoint while the freezer holds temperature. Typical inspection covers damper control, evaporator airflow, defrost cycle and sealed-system indicators.

Miele coffee system milk fault

Diagnostic scenario: milk froth weak or absent while coffee brew works normally. Typical inspection covers milk pipework, milk valve, steam boiler and recent cleaning-cycle history.

Conveyor pizza oven uneven bake

Diagnostic scenario: pies undercooked on one side of the conveyor. Typical inspection covers burner alignment, finger arrangement, blower amperage and belt-speed calibration.

Walk-in cooler temperature alarm

Diagnostic scenario: repeated high-temperature alarm at night. Typical inspection covers defrost schedule, evaporator coil condition, condenser airflow and door-gasket integrity.

Spiral dough mixer trips breaker

Diagnostic scenario: mixer stops mid-batch and trips the panel. Typical inspection covers motor draw under load, contactor condition, bowl-lock interlock and drive-belt tension.

Examples only — not completed repair claims. Final diagnosis and repair scope are confirmed only after on-site inspection.
